new century will be marked by trade liberalization and we must make serious
efforts to raise the quality of Indonesia's human resources, so as to prepare
our society for global competition. The place where future leaders are prepared

The Council for the Development of Partnership Programs (CDPP) is currently engaged in restructuring the Executive Board and Members, in order:

to expand the range of institutions from which employers may source local candidates; |
|
| 2. |
to explore ways to invite previous and new employers to recruit local candidates and candidates returning from their overseas institutions through the NEU Program Office; |
|
| 3. |
to implement a relationship with the Ministry of National Education to include the DPPK/CDPP and the NEU Co-op Program in the national budget of 2001; |
|
| 4. |
to seek ways to implement co-op exchange programs in the U.S through NEU and with other WACE member countries; |
|
| 5. |
to enable the Financial Team to secure a Program Budget for 2000 and 2001 by developing annual membership and Sponsor's Program. |
